Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers: An Updated Guide to Stress, Stress Related Diseases, and Coping (2nd Edition) [Perfect Paperback]

25 new from $5.24 95 used from $1.75

Combining cutting edge research with a healthy dose of humor and practical advice, Sapolsky explains how prolonged stress causes or intensifies mental afflictions.

Why don't zebras get ulcers--or heart disease, diabetes and other chronic diseases--when people do? In a fascinating look at the science of stress, biologist Robert Sapolsky presents an intriguing case, that people develop such diseases partly because our bodies aren't designed for the constant stresses of a modern-day life--like sitting in daily traffic jams or growing up in poverty. Rather, they seem more built for the kind of short-term stress faced by a zebra--like outrunning a lion.

With wit, graceful writing, and a sprinkling of Far Side cartoons, Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers makes understanding the science of stress an adventure in discovery. "This book is a primer about stress, stress-related disease, and the mechanisms of coping with stress. How is it that our bodies can adapt to some stressful emergencies, while other ones make us sick? Why are some of us especially vulnerable to stress-related diseases, and what does that have to do with our personalities?"

Sapolsky, a Stanford University neuroscientist, explores stress's role in heart disease, diabetes, growth retardation, memory loss, and autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis. He cites tantalizing studies of hyenas, baboons, and rodents, as well as of people of different cultures, to vividly make his points. And Sapolsky concludes with a hopeful chapter, titled "Managing Stress." Although he doesn't subscribe to the school of thought that hope cures all disease, Sapolsky highlights the studies that suggest we do have some control over stress-related ailments, based on how we perceive the stress and the kinds of social support we have.

This is possibly the best anatomy-phys book I've ever read, and as a nurse I've read a few! Now don't get stressed out here! I truely mean it, this one is fun. No formulae to memorize, no complicated Krebs Cycles to navigate, no difficult Latin origin and insertion sites to locate, just pure fun. The author has the knack--no let's call it for what it really is, a rare gift--for taking the dry facts of biological functioning and making an amusing but clearly informative tale of it all. Dr Sapolsky has a purpose beyond the mere dissemination of information on anatomy physiology of humans, zebras, lab rats, or baboons to the lay person. His intention is to show that the modern lifestyle, and how the individual reacts to it, can have a major impact on health and even on the economy of the country. I'd recommend the book to anyone with an interest in how the body works as wonderfully as it does, to those who wonder why they get sick when they're stressed out but their neighbor never seems to, to those who want to lead a healthier lifestyle and need a little background information to get started, and to high school or college students who can't quite get into that biology class because the content seems too difficult--or just plain too boring--to manage.

You, Resourceful: Return To Who You Want To Be (The Creative Rewiring Series) [Kindle Edition]

When I began reading this book, I thought sure I know this. Slowly, as I was reading, I realized that my knowledge was in my head and not in my heart. I dared to get out a piece of paper and began to explore following Kristin Prevallet's instructions and I'm glad I did. Are you ready to be resourceful? Readying to give a gift to yourself? Then, read this book.

This book will teach you powerful and strategic ways to use your creative mind to rewire your brain using metaphor, internal narrative, and the placebo effect. Utilizing the latest research in neuroscience and mindbody medicine, you will learn how to change habitual patterns and access your inner resources in a refreshing new way.

Synthesizing techniques and ideas from the fields of Clinical hypnosis, Biohacking, Neuro-linguistic programming, Cognitive, Behavioral, and Energy Psychology, this book will help you to open lines of communication with your unconscious mind in a language that it will understand.

Click here to get the details of how you can completely relieve your knee pain now. http://www.thekneepainguru.com/mmmspringkneepainoffer/ Looking forward to working with you. ~Bill

In December of 1998, Bill sustained a severe knee injury from a skiing accident that required reconstructive surgery on the ligament (ACL) and 2 pieces of meniscus (cartilage) in his left knee. This difficult experience led him on a path to figure out how to relieve the pain, tension, and discomfort in his knee as well as the rest of his body resulting from the knee injury and the subsequent surgery. Bill recognizes both the value as well as the limitations of the current "Western Medicine Medical Model" and has spent the time since his knee surgery "filling in the gaps" between the time after the surgery/physical therapy ends and feeling completely "normal" again. He believes in a comprehensive approach that incorporates different perspectives which allows for a decision regarding knee pain to be made from a place of knowledge and understanding not from a place of fear and "damage control." Bill has studied on a variety of topics such as anatomy & physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, water, exercise, strength training, breathing, martial arts and body work. He has also studied with a wide range of experienced instructors while traveling throughout Europe, Mexico, Canada, and the United States. From all these experiences Bill has developed a comprehensive approach to overcoming knee pain that incorporates water, nutrition, exercise, stretching, and breathing. He believes it is essential to incorporate ALL aspects of this program on a regular basis in order for a complete and full recovery from a knee injury to occur. Bill is dedicated to increasing the awareness and benefits of his comprehensive approach to knee pain to the international public. He now teaches others how to relieve knee pain for themselves through his website The Knee Pain Guru.

The Pain Code; Walking Through the Minefield of the Health System (Kindle Edition) newly tagged "health"

Written By Amazon Publisher on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 | 10:46 PM

Barby's books are for all of those suffering from chronic pain as well as their family, caregivers, healthcare professionals and public. Until you feel the pain, it is difficult to understand the challenges it brings on even after remission is successfully reached. Her books put this into great perspective with easy to follow and understand information. Whether a person is dealing with physical or mental pain, it can and will consume you if you allow it to. Only the patient can begin the process of healing, and Barby's hope is that these books will inspire the patient's eventual transformation filled with HOPE. Healing starts from within and it is "Yours If You Choose To Accept It".

Barby Ingle has been battling a Neurological condition, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, for almost 9 years. Barby underwent IV-Infusion therapy and is now out of the severe burning pain that took over her life as well as the other autonomic symptoms that come with RSD. This process tested Barby to her limits. Through this life experience, she realized her limits are past the bounds she had on herself. Barby did not give up or give in! Barby had to become the Chief of Staff of Her Own Medical Team and is now in remission. If Barby can do it, anyone can.

Author Barby Ingle has worked tirelessly together with the Power of Pain Foundation, a Non-Profit charity, to advance pain patient rights and care. She does this through information events, education materials, and mentoring support. Barby has writing articles for multiple monthly newsletters, been featured in Pain Pathways Magazines and been interviewed on multiple local and national radio shows. Barby speaks at various medical conferences around the country on being your own best advocate, patient rights, motivational, setting expectations, inspirational views, and more. She inspires and motivates patient and public alike. Barby leads efforts through works with legislators from multiple states on patient rights, she is a mentor for RSDHope, a member of RSDSA, serves on the Arizona Alliance for Chronic Care, and has spoken for many groups such as the American Pain Foundation, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Medtronic. Barby is committed to be the face of pain through rising awareness in the public and healthcare field as well as being a strong advocate of patient rights. More at www.powerofpain.org and www.barbyingle.com

When it comes to living, the best life you can when faced with a chronic care condition every person has choices. It is a matter of finding the right fit for you. The patient can either let the disease run them or sort through the system and take control of the disease.

Coping with a chronic condition takes hope and self-awareness. Through the author?s struggles and finding her way through the health system for the past 10 years, she gained knowledge that she passes on to the readers of this book.

Getting organized is very important. It will take work in the beginning but it gets easier as you go. You can also save yourself more pain and challenges down the road by being organized with your approach to treating your chronic medical issue.

Topics covered include types of pain, depression, become an expert on your illness, organize your healthcare, treatment options, financial challenges, disability resources, challenges with insurance, finding community, create your oasis, and living well with chronic pain.

Smart Health Digital Pedometer Heart Rate Watch (Sports) newly tagged "health"

Have you ever driven past one of those automated radar-measuring "Your Speed Is:" signs on a neighborhood road? Why put a sign telling you your speed, but not a cop writing tickets? Why does the Prius tell you your MPG dynamically why you drive? It's all about feedback. People drive slower in neighborhoods with speed signs and they drive more fuel efficiently when their car tells them their performance.

Pedometers have exploded in popularity in recent years, with everything from cheap giveaways (from fast food restaurants no less) to GPS-based dynamic sports trackers costing hundreds of dollars. The idea is the same as the signs in your neighborhood or fuel efficiency in your Prius - feedback. By seeing how many steps you take, it encourages you to walk more and live a more active lifestyle.

The Smart Health watch is a great idea - following the "Start Walking!" guide of Denise Austin, it encourages even the most sedentary people to get moving. Many reviewers here are panning the watch, and I'll get to that soon, but what it does is offer an affordable entry level product into the world of biofeedback.

Now on to the watch itself - this is a product worth what you pay, about $40. It is certainly not as attractive of a sports watch as the Timex Men's T5J571 1440 Sport Digital Resin Strap Watch. It has a big black plastic face, plastic buttons, and a really 1980's looking LCD display. It is fairly easy to set, but does not have many functions typical of sports watches like a stop watch, alarms, or calendar. It does have a nice backlight that is reminiscent of Timex Indiglo.

The watch counts steps and reports total distance walked and calories burned. It also measures heartbeat on demand by pushing a silver button. The heartbeat monitor works quite well and I might just keep the watch around for that capability - it's nice to get a quick pulse during a workout, walk, or even a bike ride.

There is some advanced setup - you can input your age, gender, height, and weight to adjust the calorie calculation. You can also adjust the step sensitivity between low, medium, and high, in case you feel it is under or overcounting steps.

Unlike other pedometers, there is no way to adjust stride length, but the manual says it does it automatically. I'm not sure about this - the accuracy seemed suspect compared to using a walking application on my iPhone with the GPS.

The watch also comes with a 30-day trial of Denise Austin's website, and a guide on how to get started walking.

The main downside of the watch looking drab and lacking other features is that you won't wear it all day, and likely will only put it on to go walking, defeating the idea of the walking lifestyle where you try to add steps all day in as many ways as you can (such as parking far away from the store). I suspect most will just put the watch on before leaving for a walk.

Other reviewers have noted the watch is difficult to rate, and I agree. My review says it all, but if I were to boil it down, I'd have to say 4 stars. The low price is indicative of the quality you will get. To earn 5 stars, I'd like to see it at least add a few more features similar to other low-cost sports watches and also improve the all-plastic look. Bottom line - when you get more into it, you will buy a better watch. But the market needs entry products, and this is a fine one for that purpose.

    Biography

Kevin Allen - Metawriter (1975 - and still going) Born in Jamaica and raised until the age of 10. I then migrated to Cambridge MA and attended the Charles G. Harrington middle school and then Somerville High school. I have always found myself to have a deeper understanding of words and their connotation than most people do. I also saw the comical sides to words with dark meanings and the darker meaning to words that were supposed to be kind; trust me they're there. Wordplay has always been one of the more fascinating things to me. I began writing small bits of information. In 1996 I completed and copied "Deadly Sinners", still available in Library of Congress. Today I am working on: Into the Vein", which will be my first completed novel along with it's sequel. Here's to 2012.

Toe Reading - Are You Walking Your Destined Path? (Paperback) newly tagged "health"

Written By Amazon Publisher on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 | 7:36 PM

Toe Reading is the metaphysical understanding that the direction and formation of the toes are the physical printout of the path a person's life has taken. The toes are one of bodies' depositories for stories and emotions. KC Miller author of the self-published book, Toe Reading: Are You Walking Your Destined Path is taking the country by storm with what is becoming known as a Toe Reading phenomena. KC Miller was featured on MTV's #1 dating reality program NEXT as a Toe Psychic. Dozens of article have been published about her work as a Toe Reader and the revealing information that your sole/soul holds. KC is the Founder and Director of the Award-winning private college, Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, one of the largest providers of holistic healthcare education in the country.

This book is so interesting, insightful and educational. I had the pleasure of seeing the author in a seminar last year. She is very upbeat and looks so healthy. It makes you want to know what she knows:) Each of our toes tells a story about our life - positive and negative experiences. When you become aware of how events and attitudes affect your toes and that you can do things to change and better your life it is empowering. A great read!

Automated Man: Thought Inheritance and the Cycle of Existence (Paperback) newly tagged "health"

Automated man, Thought inheritance and the Cycle of existence. Are humans the masters of their own destiny? If our heart beats willy-nilly, if our gut digests food regardless of our will, if our kidney filtrates body waste whether we like it or not, to what extent are we really in control of our thoughts and actions?

If we look like our parents, walk like them and possess their tone of voice, did we also inherit  ancestral thoughts?

Is there really a beginning and will there ever be an end? If more than 60% of human body composition is water, if close to 90% of human body chemical are recyclable elements, is man's life a tiny wheel in the mega wheel of the cycle of existence?

When the society reviews its scoreboard on the youth, it will dawn on it that it has invested a lot of resources thus far. It has gotten the youths through the dependency of childhood and the turbulence period of adolescence. Now the youth has to give back and quickly too before their strength and attractions begin to dwindle into the doldrums of middle age.

As our biological clock unwinds from conception to demise the book further discusses intervening life perplexities such as: * Stranger anxiety in infants * developmental stages of adolescence and youth, menstruation, menopause, prostatism, aging, the human soul and transition into oblivion.

Also covered in this book are array of contemporary, often controversial topics that include: whether newborns have any cognition at birth,  memory and disorders of thought, imagination, conception, when life actually begins, Alzheimer disease etc.

I think that I brought forth into this book my entire energy as a theorist, a philosopher, a naturalist and a physician in clinical practice for twenty five years. Nigeria is where I was born and where I grew up. I graduated from medical school at University of Ibadan, Nigeria and completed my residency training in pediatrics at Brookdale hospital, Brooklyn New York. My private practice is in Bridgeport Connecticut and I currently reside in Newtown Connecticut. I am married with three children.

When Doctors Don't Listen: How to Avoid Misdiagnoses and Unnecessary Tests (Hardcover) newly tagged "health"

"This is a well-written book on an innovative approach to healthcare reform: it challenges patients to take charge of their health and every medical encounter with their doctor. An important topic and an important book--I encourage my patients to read it."
—Siddhartha Mukherjee, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer

"I have always said that a hospital can kill you as sure as cure you. You must be your own best advocate. Follow the advice of Drs. Wen and Kosowsky…and transform from being a patient to an advocate for your own health."
—Fran Drescher, actor, producer, activist, and author of Cancer Schmancer

“It’s critical for patients to advocate for their own health.  This book teaches you how…Read it; it will change radically how you approach your doctors.”
—Melissa Etheridge, Grammy Award-winning musician and host of The Melissa Etheridge Radio Show

“This clearly-written, brilliantly and creatively thought-out book, filled with fascinating and horrifying examples of how doctors are now trained to not listen to their patients in order to ‘rule out’ diseases, focuses on ‘ruling in’ diagnoses that not only are accurate, but that will save billions of dollars per year in lawsuit-driven tests. A brave, terrific, essential work.”
—Samuel Shem, M.D., Ph.D., author of The House of God and The Spirit of the Place

"Leana Wen and Josh Kosowsky have written an authoritative guide to answer a seemingly simple question: How should you talk to your doctor?  Through fascinating examples taken from their own clinical experiences, they show how doctors’ training fails to teach real listening skills.  But Drs. Wen and Kosowsky don't stop there: They also offer up constructive and practical advice that just might save your life."
—Darshak Sanghavi, MD, Chief of Pediatric Cardiology, University of Massachusetts Medical School, health care columnist for Slate, contributing editor at Parents magazine, and author of A Map of the Child: A Pediatrician's Tour of the Body

“Their proposal for ‘diagnostic partnership’ is a major contribution of this courageous book in which common sense plays the leading role.”
—Julio Frenk, MD, PhD, Dean of the Harvard School of Public Health

“A powerful appeal for individualized medical evaluation based on an active partnership between doctors and patients. The rational, mutual approach to diagnosis advocated by Drs. Wen and Kosowsky is the antidote for mindless and wasteful routines that all too often replace careful listening and focused assessment of each patient.”
—Harvey V. Fineberg, M.D., Ph.D., President, Institute of Medicine

“Exposes the stereotypic physician following cookbook recipes to liberating a new frontier in the ‘art’ of humanistic medicine that empowers patients and physicians alike.”
—Lincoln Chen, MD, Director, Global Equity Center at Harvard Kennedy School of Government

“Not only offers a compelling argument for revitalizing this touchstone of good medicine, but also provides a comprehensive guide for how doctors and patients can improve the quality of healthcare by doing so.”
—Jordan J. Cohen, MD, Professor of Medicine and Public Health, George Washington University, and President Emeritus, Association of American Medical Colleges

"This is an important contribution to helping both physicians and patients more effectively manage their encounters.  The authors make it clear that ‘more medical care’ may frequently be harmful to a patient's health.”
—Robert Graham, MD, Professor of Family and Community Medicine, University of Cincinnati

“This book is a must read for informing the dialogue about health care reform and transforming medical education. Its humanistic authors provide support for re-integrating the lost art of humanism with more scientific medicine. The authors’ passion for the individual behind the illness is contagious.”
—Afaf I. Meleis, Ph.D., DrPS (hon), FAAN, Margaret Bond Simon Dean of Nursing, University of Pennsylvania

"Doctors take an oath to do no harm. Yet more than ever, modern medicine makes healthy people sick. Emergency physicians Leana Wen and Josh Kosowski make a passionate argument for patients to get involved and informed about their care. A fast, smart read to help you take charge of your health."
—Audrey Young Crissman, MD, author of What My Patients Taught Me: A Medical Student’s Journey

"Evidenced based medicine, clinical guidelines, and diagnostic algorithms have been widely adopted as an answer to inconsistent and out-of-date medical practice. Drs. Leana Wen and Joshua Kosowsky make the case that the resultant algorithms-gone-wild syndrome seen in many medical settings today actually drives imprecise and wasteful testing, muddled diagnoses, and patient confusion. They argue that these clinical behaviors are at the heart of our “morbidly obese” medical care system and that thoughtful physicians relying on patient narratives and diagnostic common sense will create a leaner medical care system and better patient outcomes. Theirs is a contrarian and compelling case with the wellbeing of millions of patients and $250 billion a year riding on it."
—Fitzhugh Mullan, MD, Murdock Head Professor of Medicine and Health Policy, The George Washington University

“When Doctors Don’t Listen by Drs.Wen and Kosowsky have insightfully crafted a revelation about the workings of modern medicine. It addresses with a finely nuanced balance the basis for our dysfunctional “cookbook style" of medicine. The analysis is not a critical pontification by outsiders, but a pained view by deeply informed insiders. The book pleads powerfully for the disenfranchised patient. It must be read both because most of us sooner or later are bound to seek health care and because the authors provide an important viewpoint for the intensifying nationwide health care debate."
—Bernard Lown, MD, Professor emeritus Harvard School of Public Health, Senior Physician emeritus Brigham and Women's Hospital, Nobel Peace Laureate 1985

“What a brilliant concept – this outstanding book provides an innovative and interesting approach to understanding how physicians interact with patients presenting with an illness and reach a diagnosis. Using a case-based approach followed with careful analysis of the process by two experts in the field of Emergency Medicine, clarity and transparency are provided to one of the most complex areas of medicine, how the physician develops the framework for a diagnosis and orders tests to prove it. Drs. Wen and Kosowsky have given the non-medically trained reader a variety of common scenarios for presentation to the Emergency Department. Physicians often reach a wrong diagnosis by following set pathways hard-wired from years of training and experience. Unfortunately, key words or phrases from the patient which lead the physician down a “typical” pathway for an illness can trigger the wrong answer and result in a large number of expensive, time-consuming, and potentially harmful tests. By teaching the patient the importance of providing the essential information on their illness to the physician, and making sure the physician actually listens to them, the likelihood that the physician makes the correct diagnosis increases substantially. This excellent book contains a literal treasure trove of information which will be beneficial and educational for patient and physician alike. As popular as the ED has been over the last two decades, pictured in television shows such as “ER” and other medically oriented television series, I anticipate this book will be widely read, very successful, and often quoted, not only by the lay public but also the medically-trained care providers who strive to listen better to their patients.”
—W. Brian Gibler, MD  FACEP, FACC, President and CEO, University Hospital, Senior Vice President, UC Health, Professor of Emergency Medicine, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine

Dr. Leana Wen is a physician at Harvard and Brigham & Women's Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital. Inspired by her own childhood illness and then her mother's long battle with cancer, Dr. Wen is a recognized expert on patient advocacy and patient-centered care. A Rhodes Scholar, she graduated with distinction from the University of Oxford and Washington University School of Medicine. She has served as a consultant to the World Health Organization, Brookings Institution, China Medical Board, and the National Institutes of Health, and is currently the National President of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine/Resident & Student Association.

The 2007 winner of The New York Times journalism contest, Dr. Wen has reported in Africa with journalist Nicholas Kristof, and has written for The Lancet, Journal of American Medical Association, The Washington Post, among others. Dr. Wen is traveling around the U.S. and in Europe, Asia, and Africa to speak about patient empowerment and her first book, When Doctors Don't Listen: How to Prevent Misdiagnoses and Unnecessary Tests.

Dr. Josh Kosowksy is an expert clinician and the clinical director of the Brigham & Women's Emergency Department. He is a former Fulbright Scholar and a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School. A director of the "Introduction to Clinical Medicine Course" which helps prepare Harvard medical students for their hospital clerkships, he has introduced innovative elements to the curriculum around patient-physician communication. Dr. Kosowksy is the author of dozens of journal articles and textbook chapters, and has given invited presentations to hundreds of hospitals and medical schools around the country. He serves on the Editorial Board of a half-dozen medical journals, ranging from Annals of Emergency Medicine to The American Journal of Cardiology.

"This book delivers on its promise. It offers recipes that are both healthy AND yummy" - B. Pepper 4/5

    You are what you eat.

Most people believe that it is difficult to eat healthily without compromising on taste, convenience and money.

Based on my experiences as a dietitian, I was inspired to write a recipe book to encourage healthy home cooking based on fresh simple ingredients that offer variety, taste and flavor. I firmly believe that healthy food can be a breeze to prepare, taste great and is definitely very affordable!

With that in mind, this book was born. Maximum Flavor, Minimum Fat offers 61 healthy recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, soups, snacks and smoothies. These recipes are a compilation of my own culinary experiments. Now before you think that this is just going to be a book about salads and brown rice, let me assure you that the recipes include all-time favorites such as steak sandwich, beer-battered fish, ricotta pancakes as well as other exotic flavors including shrimp curry and chicken enchilada.

Maximum Flavor, Minimum fat offers comprehensive nutritional analysis and profiling for all the recipes to cater to your specific nutritional needs e.g. low calorie, high protein, diabetic-friendly. So whether you are trying to lose weight or just eat healthier, this book is definitely is a good starting point.

For those who still think that a healthy meal is some 97% percent fat-free microwavable frozen dinner that comes in a minute portion leaving you still hungry after craving for more, it is time to throw on an apron and start cooking away.

I AM Creating My Own Experience: The Creation Vibration (Paperback) newly tagged "health"

Written By Amazon Publisher on Friday, August 31, 2012 | 2:08 PM

Barry Thomas Bechta was born in Barrie, Ontario, but grew up in Orillia, Ontario (where 78% said 'yes' to Aspirin).

Barry went to the University of Waterloo, earning a BA in Honours Fine Arts (drawing and painting).

After traveling Europe for seven months (creating art) and then North America (camping in the back of his minivan), Barry settled in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1994.

    =====

After a period of deep despair, Barry had painted himself into a dark corner from which he could see no door or window out - except to go within.

It was through self-reflection and a sincere reaching towards the Creative Power within himself that Barry made a lasting connection with God/Life/Energy, and more importantly a promise to himself.

"When I find how I led myself to my pain, and discover a way to ease my pain, I wish to share that wisdom with others."

In response to that promise, Barry's experience unfolded and showed him that he was the cause of his pain through his personal Thoughts, Feelings, Words, and Actions.

Through hours of meditation and self-reflection and encourage by a book of positive thoughts, Barry began to write a personal affirmation journal. It started as one single page (which he would read when he struggled) and eventually expanded into a personal journal (which he read daily).

Barry wrote this first book while living in Haida Gwaii (the Queen Charlotte Islands).

A close friend encouraged Barry to share his journal as a book with others.

Unconditional Love Books published his first book in August, 2000.

Since that date, Barry has gone on to write 17 Self-Creation Spiritual books:

I AM Creating My Own Experience
I AM Creating My Own Answers
I AM Creating My Own Dreams
I AM Creating My Own Relationships
I AM Creating My Own Abundance
I AM Creating My Own Success
I AM Creating My Own Happiness
I AM Creating My Own Experience - The Creation Vibration
I AM Creating My Own Experience - To Manifest Money
I AM Creating My Own Experience - 366 Conscious Days
    Loving Oneness
    Trust Life
I AM Creating My Own Debt FREE EBook
I AM Creating My Own Financial Freedom - The Story
I AM Creating My Own Financial Freedom - The Lessons
I AM Creating My Own Results Workbook

Each of Barry's books is a snapshot of his Self-Creation & Spiritual journey to Consciously Manifest his life as he desires it Right Now, and more importantly these books are wisdom tools for others to Create their lives as they desire them Right Now.

Barry's greatest joy during his years as an author, has been receiving personal letters and emails from people whom discovered the light and tools in Barry's work to help them on their own journey --- some lifted out of personal despair --- most raising their vibration to even higher levels of connection with all life.
